• Development of strategic marketing plans

• Social media plan development and implementation for multiple clients and the agency
• Conceptualizing awesome content
• Distribution or delivery of marketing materials
• Fulfillment of marketing offers
• Analysis of marketing and sales data
• Ad buying from traditional and new media platforms
• Researching and analyzing competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline
• Preparation of presentations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or advertising
• Previous agency internship or full-time experience
• WordPress experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Extensive knowledge of web and social media platforms including ad placement
• Google AdWords certification a plus
• Efficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Able to work in a fast paced environment

While we work with some consumer brands, MANY of our clients are in the business-to-business space.  This means technical writing and content creation, graphics that are more informational than beautiful, and strategies that are designed to garner investment more than move product.

We are looking to add to our growing digital marketing department which is experiencing extremely rapid growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the team in the following areas:

• E-mail marketing design and automation (MailChimp, constant contact, etc.)
• Social media content creation and management (including content development and working with the graphic/video design teams)
• Branding campaigns for start-ups or rebrands of existing brands
• Client communication and project management of multiple clients from various sectors
• Development of strategic marketing plans
• WordPress Web Development
• PPC and Social media advertising
• Conceptualizing and creating awesome written content designed for B2B
• Distribution or delivery of marketing materials
• Analysis of marketing and sales data
• Ad buying from traditional and new media platforms
• Researching and analyzing competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline
• Preparation of presentations

We are looking for someone who is capable of:

• Working with little detail to create engaging technical and creative written pieces
• conceptualizing overall brands and overseeing the execution of their design
• giving creative direction in graphic design and video production
• managing people
• working their way around WordPress (some SEO smarts would be great)
• managing social media accounts
• client facing with positivity and professionalism
• doing an awesome job with little direction
• managing incoming projects and outgoing deliverables
• adhering to a “return every email” policy
• asking for help when needed

Someone with:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Extensive knowledge of web and social media platforms including ad buying
• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or advertising
• Previous agency full-time experience
• Google AdWords certification (a plus)
• Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• 2-5 years of experience in WordPress backend AND front end
• 3-5 years digital marketing agency experience PREFERRED
• 2-5 years of experience in e-commerce, specifically WooCommerce
• Experience in Mailchimp, Google Adwords, Google Analytics, and WordPress plugins
• Experience in Godaddy, Cloudways, and backend DNS
• A proven track record of managing successful inbound digital marketing campaigns that drive ROI for clients

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the team in the following areas:

• WordPress designing, using the Divi builder. Experience in WPBakery and Elementor a PLUS
• Building customer websites based on our guidelines and standards
• Fixing any design issues that might arise
• LAMP stack (HTML, CSS, JS, PHP MySQL)
• Cloudways / virtual server management
• UI/UX Designing
• Building beautiful websites from scratch or cleaning up existing sites
• Ensuring that the team is adhering to our website standards
• Documenting any new or repeating issues during the build phase Analysis of marketing and sales data
• Training the other team members of any changes or new standards for future builds Researching and analyzing competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline
• Performing design reviews for websites with other designers
• Designing (or redesigning) our SaaS products and WordPress Plug-ins
• Recommending functionality based on UX research and best practices
• Writing specifications for functionality, features, and use cases
• Occasionally assist in building the HTML/prototypes

Requirements:

• 3+ Years in WordPress design

SUMMARY 

CMW Media is a fast-growing, full-service Public Relations firm specializing in innovative businesses in a wide range of industries including publicly traded companies and emerging markets including the cannabis industry. CMW Media is looking to add a Pitching Contractor to our team to assist with pitching our many campaigns to national and local media for pick-ups. The ideal candidate is passionate about public relations, and is passionate about delivering for our clients every time.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pitching the news media and execution of successful PR campaigns; securing placement
• Coordinate professional pitches and blast to relevant media using personal and CMW Media’s network of contacts with the goal of securing placement.
• Develop network of “friendly” media willing to place campaigns and pick up stories.
• Submit full reports of each campaign in order to evaluate success.
• Continual follow-ups with potential media hits. Not afraid to chase the hit
• Able to work on several projects at once and capable of identifying top-priority projects
• Research the technical properties of clients’ products
• Revise, edit, and proofread content as needed or directed
• Respond to feedback in a timely manner
• Work within tight deadlines, and hit them every time
• Check copy for spelling and grammar errors
• Research competitors and keep abreast of market trends

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years of media relations and pitching with track record of success
• A strong “rolodex” of journalists, influencers, and media decision makers
• Flexibility to embrace change in a rapidly growing organization
• Driven toward continual improvement
• Team player, comfortable working in a collaborative environment
• Proficiency in Google Drive and Google aps tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office programs
• Experience working with creative people and agencies (preferred)
